Tech Tips

The PORT is everyone’s responsibility.

The PORT is a living document that requires periodic updates and fixes. Team members, especially those with expertise in specific areas, can significantly contribute to improving the functionality, content, and user experience. Providing feedback for the PORT improves the overall quality and reduces errors, leading to a more robust and well-crafted policy manual.

If you see something, say something. Some examples include:

Broken links: Links to pages that no longer exist or have changed URLs can disrupt the user experience.

Grammar errors: Incorrect grammar and punctuation can make the PORT seem unprofessional and unreliable.

Incomplete or missing content: If the PORT is missing crucial information or has incomplete pages, it can lead to user confusion and frustration.

Misspellings: Even minor misspellings can create a negative impression and undermine the PORT.

Outdated or irrelevant content can lead to a negative user experience and discourage repeat visits.

Poor formatting: Unclear formatting, such as inconsistent fonts, colors, or spacing, can make the PORT difficult to read and understand.
